One question. An instant snapshot of what your readers think.

Knowing your readers

What is the biggest obstacle to knowing your readers directly?

  • Readers have no reason to sign in
  • There is no good moment to ask
  • The data is hard to use once we have it
  • It is nobody's job

Make the weekly news quiz a habit. Ask, reveal the answers and finish with a score.

The week in local news

What kind of local news reader are you?

A council planning notice goes up at the end of your road. You:

  • Read it properly, then look up the application
  • Wait for someone to report what it actually means
  • Notice it and get on with your day

02 / KEEP THE STORY MOVING

From “what if”
to in the article.

Built for the pace of a newsroom. Your editors have a story to finish, not another tool to figure out.

01

Start with a good question.

Write your own, or turn an article into an AI draft. You edit. You approve. You decide what goes live.

02

Make it feel like you.

Your colours, your title, your voice. Set the brand once and bring it to every interaction.

03

Publish. Paste. You’re in.

Copy the embed into your CMS. The interaction fits right into the story, on desktop and mobile.

Give your next story a question

03 / MAKE THE CONNECTION

Your audience.
Getting a little
less anonymous.

A vote is a beginning. An answer tells you more. A newsletter signup gives the conversation somewhere to go.

Let’s talk about your audience

Turn a moment into a connection.

Offer a newsletter signup after an interaction. Readers choose to hear more, with consent recorded for the list they join.

Your data. On your terms.

Get subscriber data into your workflow through CSV exports, a pull API or signed webhooks. Access to personal data is controlled by your team’s permissions.

Give every title its own space.

Manage your brands and colleagues in one organisation. Each title keeps its own identity, settings and reader data.

Reader data stored in London. Personal details kept separate from interaction events.

A story takes off? Your interactions stay on. No automatic overage charges.
Annual billing takes two months off: a year costs what ten months would.

A few good questions.

What counts as a response?

One reader completing one interaction: a poll vote, a finished quiz or a submitted form. A ten-question quiz counts once. Views, starts and abandoned attempts do not count.

What happens if a story takes off?

Your interactions keep working and collecting responses. If you regularly exceed your allowance, we get in touch about a plan that fits. There are no automatic overage charges.

Will it work with our CMS?

If your CMS supports an HTML or script embed, you can paste in a quizee interaction. It fits the article column and keeps its styling separate from your website. Your CMS may require an administrator to enable script embeds.

Can we use our own branding?

Yes. Set colours, type and consent wording for each brand, with organisation defaults underneath. Published interactions carry those settings, so every title can feel like itself.

Does AI publish anything automatically?

No. Draft from a brief or an article on your brand’s approved domains, then review and edit it. AI-generated content needs human approval before it can be published.
